Ooooh that's the SPOT!!!

Over the years most people will experience several different toys. If they know that they like or have read this here blog then they know how to pick a really good toy for their body. Then they come across a toy that just curls their toes. This happened to me once. I knew I liked really good G-spotting toys. A Toy With A Twist!

I'm always on the lookout for a new toy that will intrigue my interests. I'm the same way with the latest technology. I am always looking for that one device that will improve my life in some way. Do you remember the days when you had to carry a cell phone, an iPod, a digital camera and a PSP so you could have all the digital devices you would ever need in one day?

I would love to apply this downsizing in devices to my own toy box. I know it is hard to believe that an abundance of sex toys can be a bad thing but it can. The Twist Rechargeable Wand!

There is so much to say about this toy I am not even sure where to start. At first glance this toy looks like the love child between a Love U Wand and nice G-Spotting toy. In a way that is exactly what the Twist Rechargeable Wand is; one end is rounded and about the size of a golf ball and the other end has a curved tip to help hit your G-spot. Now, here is where things get interesting. Each end has its own independent motor that has several (7) unique speed and pulsation functions. You can turn on one end at a time or use them both at the same time. You can even set one to pulsate and the other to strictly vibrate! There are so many options that you can literally spend hours figuring out what works best for you!

Now, I know you are already thinking that the Twist Rechargeable Wand is sounding pretty cool. But I haven't even told you about the "twist". See that spot in the middle where the toy looks like it is divided into two parts?

If you give that section of the toy a small twist it will turn the toy in a way that creates a 90 degree angle! This makes handling the toy so much easier when you are playing alone. So this toy is designed to be healthy for your body and easy to clean. Speaking of cleaning, for this toy you want to clean with care. It isn't waterproof so you need to make sure you gently clean around that center joint. I would use mild soap and water on the end portions. For a long time I resisted buying an iPhone because I was so sure that I didn't need one and that it couldn't possibly live up to all the things it said it could do. I was wrong. Grab the Remote and Ride this Wave.

Get into the Rabbit Habit.

The Rabbit toy has been around for a good many years but it didn't really get popular until the infamous "The Turtle and the Hare " episode of Sex and the City. In the episode Charlotte is introduced to a sex toy called, "The Rabbit." What happens next is frankly what happens to many women who enjoy this toy for the first time. She locked herself in her bedroom and didn't want to come out. She simply couldn't stop herself from enjoying all the pleasure the Rabbit was delivering. 

When I first moved to NYC like Charlotte I was frustrated with dating and living single in the big city. So when I saw this episode of Sex and the City like many other women in the country I rushed out to find myself one of these amazing Rabbit toys. I spent what felt like a fortune ($179) on a toy called the iRabbit. It was purple beauty and I rushed right home to take it for a test ride. From sensation stand point the iRabbit was awesome! It delivered on its promise to be an incredible toy. Functionality aside there are a good many aspects of this toy that fell far below my expectations. I wish that I had been the Dildo Whisperer then that I am today. I would have known what pit falls to avoid and the difference between a great quality toy and a very expensive knock off. 

The design of nearly every Rabbit toy out there is the same. There is a shaft that twirls around in a small circular fashion and inside it are a number of "pearls" that rotate around the shaft to create G-Spot stimulation. Then attached to the base of the shaft there is a bullet vibe that is shaped like a rabbit. The ears are designed to reach up and tickle the clit. This toy has lots of moving parts so it isn't what I would call a silent toy but when it is doing its thing you won't care that it is louder then your other toys. It is designed to blow your mind and it delivers. The handle is often the battery compartment and has either a number of buttons or slide fader like controls. The shaft and the rabbit bullet vibe have separate controls for independent use. Run the Rabbit fast and the shaft slow or whatever feels right for you.

         

Not all Rabbits are created equal! Most are made out of jelly rubber and this low quality type of rubber is  just one of the problems I ran into with my first Rabbit. Jelly rubber often is porous which means that after time bacteria can grow inside it. Plus, many of these low quality rubbers can contain chemicals called Pthalates that are thought to be harmful. Then there is the matter of the "pearls" that are inside the shaft of the Rabbit. There are a lot of parts and motors in this toy and that means that it is more prone to breaking. In the case of the "pearls" inside the rabbit they have a tendency to get jammed. Not something you want to have happen while they are rolling across your G-Spot. Then there is the issue of the battery compartment. This is the one thing about my iRabbit that made me the most insane. Due to the fact that the battery compartment is also the handle one would think that the compartment would be designed to stay closed when handled. That was not the case with my iRabbit. Every time I was getting into my grove the damn battery would come off and the batteries would pop out. It made me crazy! Eventually, I just duct taped the damn thing on. 

Luckily, for you my lovely readers there is one company that finally worked out all the kinks in the Rabbit design so you won't run into the same problems I  did. I'd like to introduce you to the toy that O Magazine calls the "Rolls Royce of sex toys." 

The Rabbit Habit

So what makes Rabbit Habit different? Let's start with the materials used in this toy. The Rabbit Habit is made with a rubber called TPR. This rubber doesn't contain of the harmful chemicals that many of the other rabbit toys do. The "pearls"in the Rabbit Habit are designed in a way so they won't jam during use.  This will make your G-Spot much happier!  The controls on the Rabbit Habit are a fader design which means you don't have to get confused on which button to push while you are trying to enjoy yourself. I might have had this problem with the other designs. The Rabbit Habit runs on 3 AA batteries in a compartment that doesn't just pop open when handled. Plus, it comes in my favorite color, Purple! I have tried a dozen or so different rabbit toys over the years and this one has to be the top of the list. Let me put it this way dear readers. The Rabbit Habit is the only rabbit toy still in my personal toy box.

This glass is half full!

When I first heard they were making sex toys out of glass I was concerned. After all, glass can break and the last thing you want to have happen is your glass toy to break in or around your naughty bits! Luckily though these toys are not made of standard glass. They are made of Pyrex Glass.

You know the kind that made cook wear out of. This means that the glass is much stronger and will not break or chip easily at all in addition it is capable of enduring a high temperature changes. Not only are these toys safe but they also have a variety of added benefits.

Glass toys tend to look more like works of art then sex toys. The come in a variety of colors and designs. These toys are beautifully hand crafted and are often stunning to look at. Due to the fact that they are all uniquely hand crafted these toys tend to be on the higher end of the price scale but they can be well worth the money. Glass is a very smooth surface so these toys glide in and out with very little resistance. The firmness of the glass makes them perfect for G-Spot and P-spot Massage. But one of the coolest things about glass toys is that you can change the temperature of the toy easily for sensation play. I keep a cup with cold water and hot water next to the bed. A quick dip and the toys temperature quickly changes. I personally love the feel of a cool toy as it enters my body. Sensational!

LED Blue Swirl

The LED Blue Swirl is a beautiful toy to look at. It has a blue swirl pattern that runs up the shaft of this toy but that pattern serve more than one purpose. Not only is it pretty to look at but the glass is slightly raised in that area creating gentle ribs that feel great when using this toy. The LED Blue Swirl's head is 1.5" and the shaft is 1" meaning that this toy isn't overwhelming in size. Perhaps the coolest feature of this particular toy is the LED light function in the base of the toy that can beautifully light up its shaft. It slowly fades from blue to red and back again. Talk about a sexy night light!

Use care when cleaning this toy. Do not submerge into water or put in the dish washer. As with any toy with an electric function you must be careful not to get water into the battery compartment. Get into the "Flow" of things.

I missed the day that Metis Black from Tantus Inc. came by our Sirius/ XM studios to show off her new line of "Alumina" toys. I had only heard rumors about these sexy works of art and I had been looking forward to holding them in my hot little hands. Then I got sick! I was fucking bummed. That is until I came into the work the following day. Metis being the amazing person she is had left the entire line behind for me to try out for myself. I was over the moon with excitement! I took them right home with me that night and tried them out. One word for ya: AMAZING!

For this blog entry I am just going to focus on my personal favorite from the Alumina line but don't worry I promise I will cover the others in the coming weeks.

Flow

Flow, is such a simple name for such an incredible toy. Flow is made from 100% recyclable, high grade anodized aluminum. This makes Flow very durable not to mention waterproof and hypoallergenic.

I know you are thinking, "A metal toy is that really going to feel good?" The simple answer is yes. Metal toys have a lot of unique attributes that make then tons of fun to play with. For instance, the toys in the Alumina line feature very smooth surfaces and this makes the sliding in and out simply delightful. Unlike toys made of rubber and silicone you get a much smoother entry. The toys from the Alumina line also retain temperature really well. This means you can heat them up or cool them down for fun sensation play. It didn't take me long to decide which toy in my new toy store that I wanted review first. I am going to start with my FAVORITE one! Echo. This toy is made by Tantus and is made out of silicone. Mine is a silver one but I am in love with the purple version in the toy store. I think I might have to just get that one as well. I am a G-spot girl and there are only a few toys that hit me in just the right spot. What I love about Echo is that this toy has a head that is on the larger size without being oversized. The head alone makes for a really nice sensation on the G-spot but what makes echo even more awesome is that the head shape is "echoed" down the shaft of this toy.
